after months of coin drought I ordered 4 boxes of halves in late August-- they gave up 2 40%/ers. :BangHead:

2 more arrived Friday--- opened box 1 -- 3 WL's & a Ben stared back at me-- 4 enders,....

BUT WAIT----- there's more :hello2:--- 25 rolls weighed from 225.7 grams up to 230 grams:happysmiley:---- so --- release the hounds_____ THE HUNT IS ON:laughing9:

gaze upon this super haul: :occasion18: :tchest: :icon_cheers: :hello2:

33- 40% ers and 25- 90%'ers NOW, that's a nice ratio:happysmiley:

box #2 has no enders, but 27 rolls are tipping from 225.8 to 227--- so at least some 40's and some 90's are hiding-- results Monday.

it's been a "hawhile" since I've been visited by the mighty AG--- some of you likely feel the same when Colonel Angus fails to return as frequently as hoped

Congratulations on your finds. Unfortunately my banks can't order me any 50 cent boxes. Hopefully in a few months it will start working for me. Since I started going through the halves, I've gone through $843,252.00. I started going through the boxes on December 18, 2010. First it was three boxes, then for almost a year it was five boxes. Now back to three. On 9/28/2016 (It was five boxes) I could see lots of enders. Upon finishing, I found 46 Walking Liberty's, 38 Franklins, 7 Kennedy's (90%), 1 GWC/BTW Commemorative and 127 Kennedy's (40%). Also found a foreign coin. It was an 1860/50 Brazil 1000 Reis. It was 91% Silver.
The following week (10/8/16) again it was five boxes. That day it was only 2 Walking Liberty's, 1 Franklin and 6 Kennedy's (90%) and 112 Kennedy's (40%).

Ahhhh, the elusive "treasure box"! Sounds like close to $400 in silver, at only $30 face. Sweet haul indeed!
