Picked up this CWR of halves at a bank yesterday. I get excited when I get these old-school type wrappers as the have often contained silver, and are typically coins that someone had kept for a long time. Anyone else think this?

Well, I was half-right, they contained coins that someone had set aside a long time back (35-45 years), but not long enough to contain silver. Mostly 1976 and some from the mid-80s mixed in. Clearly not a CRHers dump.

I have found rolls exactly like the one pictured that were loaded with silver. I've also come across plenty of that type packed with clad. It does certainly get you excited when they bring those out though. You never know what you're going to find, but you know your chances are good.

Yep I re-release any shotgun rolls I find just so someone can appreciate them later. I'm not above putting a 40% in there either so they don't get skunked.
