During the week I picked up a few boxes of dimes and $150 in halves. No silver halves and only 3-Rosies. But I never really had in the past any desire to get nickels. This time I decided to try $40 in nics to see if anything worth while would come of it. Most of you guys know that I search mostly dimes, and have been getting into halves lately. Ever since my start in coins back in the 60's with my dad, we were only able to fill 2-Jeff folders, minus the KEY COIN. Would you believe that in my second roll of nics, out pops this coin, you guessed it, a 1950-D in good shape. This coin now makes my second Jeff folder complete, after ALL THESE YEARS. It's only too bad that the coin has an X scratched across the obverse. Within those rolls were 3 1939-p and a few 40-50s coins. Enjoy the pics.

The 50-D had only 2.630mil minted, the lowest in the Jeff series, and yet the 38-39 S's are worth more.

Also, forgot to mention, found a readable 1929-p Buffalo nic in those rolls. So not too shabby of a search.
