Little bit of a late start this year...

Picked up a box of halves + $500 in MWR of halves from a few different banks earlier this week.

Skunked on the box, but the MWR gave up two 40%ers: 1968D x 2.

Picked up two boxes of dimes over the weekend, one was a skunk but the other gave up a Roosie: 1964D.

Hopefully being able to pick up dimes signals the end of that damn coin shortage.

One day last week, got 3-dime boxes, scores as : 1,0,8 Rosies. I never expected to see anything more than a 3 in a box, but 8 I'll take it all day long.

Picked up a box of halves + $180 in CWR of halves + $17.50 in loose halves yesterday.

Skunked on the box and the loose halves, and for the most part with the CWR as well.

But, there were a few interesting rolls in the CWR...







At first I was pretty mad, thinking someone tried to short the rolls with quarters. However, that was not the case:



Made quite a few extra bucks on that $180 in CWR!

Whew... been enduring quite the skunk streak across both halves and dimes. Skunked on halves since mid-April, skunked on dimes since January!

Picked up a box of dimes + $100 in MWR of dimes yesterday. Was skunked on the MWR, but the box of dimes gave up three keepers:

1944 Merc
1946 Roosie
1952 Roosie

Thus ending my dime box skunk streak... for now.

Picked up a box of halves today that ended another month's worth of skunk boxes. The box gave up ten keepers, nine 40%ers and a 1912 George V Penny:

Picked up a box of halves over the weekend that ended up being pretty good. That's two in a row! Haha. I'll take that over a month's worth of skunks in between good boxes any day.
