Was able to hit a few banks late Friday afternoon.

Bank 1 had $8.50 in loose halves - got this 1983S impaired proof
proof 1-15.jpg

Bank 2 had no halves

Bank 3 had $17 in halves. $10 CWR and $7 loose
The loose had 5 Franklins (1951, 1958D, 1961D, 1962D, 1963D), 1 1964D JFK, and 3 40% (1966, 1968D, 1969D)
The CWR had 1 1964 JFK

Since the beginning of the year, everything else (nickels, dimes) has been a skunk. The first roll of nickels I opened this year had a 1944P war nickel, and then its been skunksville ever since. Last year was good for me right up to the end, so I can't complain.

Thanks for looking and HH

Teller trays are always a good source for any stray silver halves. Good catch.

Just yesterday was going around picking up dime boxes at several banks and asking for any rolls or loose halves. Got no rolls, but one of the other tellers pipes up and says I HAVE SOME, took them all $4 worth, they were all 40% and all 1967.
