(2) $500 boxes of Half Dollars.

I saw an ender straight off, 1967, and tackled that first...

Roll 1 yielded three silver halves; a 1967, 1967, and a '63 Franklin!!!
Roll number 2 opened gave me a another '67 and a '69....
Roll number 3 gave up a shiny 1967, and roll 4 held a 1964 Kennedy!!!!

SEVEN SILVERS and this is a good start. It's been a while since my last CRH.
I am testing my theory that the COVID MESS has caused folks to DUMP COINAGE...

Will update as I go on....
I flipped the top layer and there was only the one ender.

Let's get back to it! :silvermedalgreen:

Very nice report. And I'm jealous that your banks are ordering boxes for you.

I've been having NO PROBLEM ordering boxes of halves from different bank names, but a lot of skunks to go with. Picked up 2-boxes this morning without even ordering.

Nice haul and I agree that covid has caused people to clean out their homes which includes dumping coins

It's posts like this one that keep us box hunters stoked. It wasn't that long ago when you'd see regular posts like this one but the cupboard has been mostly bare for the past 15 months or so. Most surely it's due to COVID, but banks around me are still open by appointment only which must negatively affect the usual traffic flow of coins.
