Found my first 2008 nickel on 8/16/08, a (P) in change from Cold Stone Creamery along with a 1988-A $1 bill.

Received several Andrew Jackson (P) dollars from the Post Office vending machine on 8/24/08.

Pulled my first 2008 Canadian coin, a dime, from my coin sorter's magnet on 8/25/08.

Mus' be the southwest...

I still haven't found an 08-P nickel and it's coming close to a personal record. In 2001 I didn't find one till Sept. 8th. And still no '08 dimes yet.

Found my first 2008-P dime yesterday. I now have found one 2008 representative from each circulating denomination.

What a slow year for first finds. I'm still missing a 2008-D nickel, 2008-D dime, and the Alaska quarter (along with the dollar and quarter that haven't been released yet).
