Silver as a hedge - it's really working!

I never really doubted it but it's great to actually see it in the numbers -

Value of the silver coins I've found this year CRHing = $260.36 (using today's $17.60/oz.) MINUS the face value ($46.15) = [green]$214.21[/green]

My basic living expenses & utilities (rent, cable/internet, phone, electricity) from Jan 1st thru May have gone up $166.04 leaving me with $48.17, which will probably cover the increase in gas prices for that period since I live pretty close to the casinos.

Other expenses (car insurance, credit cards) haven't gone up from last year so no need to make up anything there. Only food's increases aren't covered, which just means I'll have to hit the machines harder!

small hedge is better than no hedge. Consider what you would be doing if not "working" the machines, maybe something stupid like playing them- no hedging there. HH Mark

i recently sold 8 rolls(collected since Feb of this year) of 40% for $45/roll minus 1% commission. $356.40, not bad for around a hundred invested.
