Well, a few asked for a tally of the find. I never picked up the washington coin book yet, but I did get a chance to look back through them tonight. There are few that I found since then in the tally, but all were found in 2008 (for those that are keeping track).

What prompted me to go back and look through it is that I found a 1932 Washington today (sorry, no mint mark, I keep looking harder, but one doesn't appear).

all the 1934's appear to be the heavy motto variety

On the assumption that the size of the S was increased in 1941, the 1941S that I have has a smaller mintmark than those of later years, thus I believe it's the small S variety.

Well, just got done looking at the tracking list to see what varieties you guys were identifying and it looks like I might have been first to find some 22 different dates/varieties. This sounds like cause for celebration. Good thing I have beer left over from the fourth.

CHEERS!!!!!!!
