8450 dimes got me............

6 silver rosies it paid for the gas to pick them up.

Also from my box of halves and a drive by I got 1-90% & 4-40% but that is not all.

I stopped at a yard sale (a new addiction) For $18 I got:

1- walking half
1- barber quarter
1- standing lib quarter
1- barber dime
1- merc dime
2- V nicks
3- indians
and 2 - 2 centers, one is in good condition

I also got a small handful of Canadian silver, a larger handful of old Canadian and British large cents and several Philippine U.S and Japanese occupation notes (pesos) no idea what they are worth.

Also got a couple of tokens. One for an Arizona territory hotel $3 per night "12 lovely ladies to assist you" I am going to research that one ($$$$$ )

I never see coins either. I always ask if they have any old coins or tokens. Then the story is always the same, "oh yea, I have some in the house" They never seem to think about putting them out for the sale and they think of it as another potential sale.

Nice yard sale score. I'm usually too late for the coins....

But I did search 47 rolls of dimes today, got a single Rosie. Not a good ratio, 1 out of 2,350. :P But it beats getting totally skunked I guess.

this is the kathouse token I found out it is a copy and worth $3 (I will trade for 2 - 40%JFKs)


this is a Chinese coin value $2.99 on eBay (I will trade for 2-40% JFKs)


both are the size of a silver dollar but much thinner.
