A friend of mine has 9 coins that he says has churchill on one side, "just his face" and on the other is Elizabeth II 1965. Are these copper nickel coins and do they have any value at all?

These are Winston Churchill commemorative coins minted after his death in 1965. They are copper nickel, as far as value, I bought a couple for less than a dollar a few years ago. I doubt they have appreciated much. I have always felt that Churchill was a fascinating man, and wanted them for that reason.
