I think you take 14.00 x 8 oz = 112.00 in melt value. Don't know what it's worth as a coin. I do know I wouldn't want to carry it around in my pocket for too long. :icon_jokercolor:

Precious metals are measured in Troy ounces and there are 12 Troy ounces to a pound ... so there are only six ounces of silver in that half pound round. At $14 per oz, that's around $84. I would walk a wide path around that offering. ::)

Also, it's not a coin but a silver bullion round. It has zero value as a coin.
