I have an 1893 $20 gold coin. It is in a package labeled ms60. I know nothing about coins. Could someone tell me what I might expect to get for it if I were to sell it?

$322 But that was 2000
They have almost an ounce of gold in them and I have seen them on sale for $1000+ for a lesser grade when gold was cheaper, If you sold to a coin dealer you would probably get a little more than melt value.
Yup, sorry not keeping up with gold prices, guess that is why I collect copper! Still need to know if it is real and properly graded.Newt said:It's worth at least $1000 on 9-23-09. Just in weight alone. Just shy of an ounce.
