When I first saw this stinkin zincoln I figured it was scratched or something. After looking at it through a 10X loupe the lines going across it are raised. I also tryed the pin trick and poke them to see if maybe it was just bubbles and they are solid, Any ideas ? It reminds of the die dent on the 2005 speared bison, but I dont know if that is it because there are so many lines.

Could be polishing gouges from them reworking the die.

Thats definately possible. I have been looking all over the web and can't find anything similiar. Do you know any good websites that show different errors and things that can happen during the minting process. Thanks
