Not really because lots of British backmarked buttons are found in the U.S..

Yesterday I dug my oldest coin to date. A 1723 Woods Hibernia half penny.

I dug these baby's up at the beach. They're old Japanese coins called "Kuan Ei Tsu Ho". They're relatively common, I have about 7 of them now I think. There are some slight verities where the lettering is different. They were made from 1626-1859.

It's British and Queen Victoria, probably a halfpenny.

It's like other common coins that in decent condition might put a few bucks in your pocket, but you'd need a real high grade to get any real cash.
