Don't open it....for Gods Sakes Man....at least until you figure it out. Never heard of such a game. What year is the nickle. Hard to tell if it's a War Nickle. Someone will chime in here, I hope. Very Interesting though. jgas

If that's correct, don't open it. It's a common coin so any potential value is being in the wrapper. That said, your package looks different so I'm not 100% convinced that's the answer. I still would not open it until I had an answer.... because it's going to be a common coin in there.

I wouldn't open it. The only thing I can tell for certain from the photo is that it is a Jefferson Five Cent piece. With this series if no mint mark is visible on the reverse, then it is not a key date. Cool the way it is. :thumbsup:

If its a war nickel you will see the mint mark above the dome on the back.


Maybe Chug is refereing to the Cheerio sacagawea dollar that was in boxes in 2000?

Cherioos also gave away 2000p 1c's as well as the sac dollars , if hershey was giving away nickels its a safe bet thats what it is i reckon.

UPDATE Iron Patch gave the correct answer It was from a payday candy bar promotion He referred me to another sight where some one there has several but not in the original cellophane wrap like mine!!!! Thanks every one for responding!!!! :hello2: :hello2: :headbang:
