How to find indian heads

What range is IH's found on? I am guessing the 30 - 35 range on a VDI scale? I'd really like to find out so I don't skip any. I haven't found one yet.

Well I have a Whites DFX and a Whites 6000Pro analog . The usual range on the VDI scale is around 52...They are tough to find at first. But I would suggest digging everything that is a repeater signal. Especially around 50-52. Most times it turns out to be trash, but when ya get one you will never forget it.... Just don't pass up the 35VDI either. Those could be rings or maybe a Flying Eagle Cent...Hope that helps. jgas

I found one today & it came in the same as a wheat, 68-72 vdi our soil is about 78 it was 3" down & I was using a 6x10 coil on the mxt.
