Great coin you have.
I find it interesting that even ten years after the Independence movement began, Mexico still minting coins showing the Spanish monarch.

these were some of the very last ones made (made at the mint until 1822)--the mint was in the center of mexico too * they by the numbers minted are rarer than many eariler types - but the earlier types are valued much higher --go figger.

You must be a big guy I guess.

I have never had any interest in putting a find on a chain, it actually ruins it for me. However, I have thought about buying a Spanish gold to do it.... until I did the math! (and that was when the chain would have been "cheap")
