You got a heck of a deal. I need to buy off the same person you do. If you go to www.coinflation.com you can check out how much each coin is worth melt value. :icon_thumright:

It was a random antique store near my house. The lady who's case the coins were in told me she "just wanted to get rid of them". I asked her what is the best she could do on all the silver coins in the case and $90 later I was walking out a happy camper. The guy at the register said she had just put them in the case and that I "did ok here".

I am a little confused about your estimates on value... Isn't there $10.57 in silver value alone in the Walkers? I don't see 1918 Walkers selling for $50 anywhere. I see $5.28 in silver value in the Quarters and $2.11 silver value in the Mercs. This was taken from CoinInflation.com

Total melt value= $112.65

Now if you were going to resell them to a dealer, he might take 10% off the top for the smelter, then between 5-10% for himself--and you'd net just what you paid for them. So you got a fair deal.

1918 Walking Liberty Half Dollar ~ made at 3 mints and has a different value for each.

Since you said some are pretty worn and some are F/VF; it's pretty impossible to give an actual value not knowing the condition. I think he mentioned "rough value".

In VF-30 condition, a 1918-S would be the cheapest and shy of $50.00; a 1918 about $70.00; a 1918-D would be over $100.00.

In Good condition, all are about $10-12 each at best. At that point, it's coin value vs. melt value.

My post was to give a rough estimate. Since no particular coin was mentioned to be in VF condition, it was hard to tell what the worth was for each coin so I posted the value of coins in Good conditioin.

I am sure you can find prices a lot higher than what I posted as well as lower.
