S mintmark supposed to look like this? (Please reply)

Bought a coin off ebay from a reputable dealer and made sure he had 100% positive feedback. Just want to make sure the s mintmark on the back is supposed to look like this. Verification numbers match and everything. Just curious.

Yes it is just the way the coin is struck. If PCGS graded it that then no worries. That's one of the only quarters I need for my book. The mint mark may just have wear on it. Sweet coin!!

I agree. The mint marks on these coins can look better but PCGS isnlt just looking at mint marks to authenticate this date and mint.

PCGS is a well known coin grading system. You're coin is 99.9999999999999% guaranteed real.

For some reason the mint marks on the 1932 D & S quarters were kinda "sloppy". I was taught years ago to be suspicious of one if the mint mark looked "too good".
