    1990 d lincoln bust penny

    I have a 1990 lincoln "d" bust penny. All i've seen from modern times have been copper coated zinc, but this one appears to be a mint solid zinc penny! Non
    magnetic, and wonderfully steely looking! Has anyone else seen this phenomenon?

    Could have been struck on an uncoated Zinc planchet, or more likely had the copper removed, pretty common.
