    Need Coin Forum Gods Help in Grading a 1890 Morgan

    I never post here, I'm normally over in the CRH section. I purchased this for $20 the other day. I looked at http://www.pcgs.com/Photograde/#/Morgan/Grades and I am thinking AU but would like your opinions Thanks in advance. John

    I would grade it EF-40/45. However, I learned to grade many years ago and the standards have "moved" to such an extent that almost every coin I own is by today's standard at least one grade higher than when I purchased them. So by today's standard it could be AU. Either way for $20.00 it is a good deal.
