Hello,

I discovered this coin in North Carolina recently and I am rather curious about it. I am positive it is a counterfeit King George II farthing.

What I am not sure about is any value this coin may have. It is rather heavily encrusted, but before i start chiselling away on it, I want to see if it would be better to send it in to have it conserved and/or slabbed.

So, please share any information or comments you may have. Counterfeits is something I am inexperienced with, and I hope someone here can educate me a little.

Thank you,
Anthony

I wouldn't slab it because it would not be slabbed because it is a counterfeit
