First time posting on this site. I usually post pictures of my metal detecting finds but this is one I found at a flea market and bought for $3 (Three dollars).

The coin has a raised area on the front of the coin. The right side of the half-moon shape is higher than the rest of the coin. If I had a good camera I could show that in the semi-circle area it appears to show the notching that runs the outside of the coin, like the border. The back of the coin does not have any noticeable issues.

I guess my questions are this.

1: Is this a mint error such as a collar strike before the main strike?
2: Is this a mint error after the first strike suck as a collar strike?
3: Is this not any sort of mint error and I have no idea what I am talking about? :tongue3:
4: Is there any value and did I do alright for $3?

Thanks!
