Was checking out the pictures and just noticed the 1950 saudi arabia riyal. Had to grab some napkins because my mouth started to water. I love the lines and designs on that coin. How long ago did you get that beauty and how much did it cost you? I might definitely have to make a trip to my local coin shop.

Hugs and Smiles,
-garoulady

I got it for Christmas last year for about $25.

I got it from this place:

World coins and paper money from Joel Anderson

They do not have it any more I believe.

There is another cool coin that's on my wishlist:

I am buying lots of foreign silver, way more than I could post on this thread. I did get this beauty I would like to share with you all (the toning is sharper in person):

Here's a few of mine, this is probably less than half of what I have, I just have to dig the rest out and post them later. Back in the 80's, I used to buy bulk "unsearched bags" of foreign coins and dig out the silver and any key dates I could find. The Israeli coin and the two Ecuadorian coins in the photo of loose coins were store bought about 10 years ago. I probably still have about a hundred or so more that I'll have to find and post. Enjoy!!

The value is $65 on the crown.

That is what I do also. What did you do with the non-silver and non-key date ones?

Here's the rest of my foreign silver "hoard". About 90% of these were culled out of bags of foreign coins, the rest were either given to me or bought. Enjoy!!

Edit: I tried to do front and back pics of each set of coins, but a couple of the sets got seperated. Sorry!!

I am a collector, so I collect all coins. My spares I trade with people around the world.

Any Polish (1990 or later), British (1971 or later [excluding 1/2 pennies, and large sized 5, 10, and 50 pence]), or Euros? I could buy those from you since I visit Poland and the Eurozone every other year, and my cousin goes to London almost every year. I don't want any earlier Polish, since those are demonetized (same with the British I did not want).

Nice collection! I buy the "unsearched lots" mainly for key dates and coins I need for my collection, since usually I get silver every few pounds. A different dealer has a bin of them, and I found a key date and a silver recently.

Fortunately before I would put the coins I didn't want or need in the ammo cans, I separated them into bags by country, so shouldn't be too hard to find out if I have any of those countries/dates you need, and if I do I would be more than happy to send them your way!! I'll let you know later this week what I find.

I have some euro cents from when I went to Spain. But I don't know if it even equals one euro so they probably wouldn't be worth your trouble buying them.

I could buy them. I have a bunch of Spanish euro cents, I'm thinking I may deposit them in a bank in Germany, and exchange them for cash.

Very nice!! I have one you might like. My husband just bought it from a guy who was thinking gold will go back to $200/ oz. He said he could take no less the $1000.00. We also bought a huge collection of silver coins too all foriegn.
