Hi all ,
I went to a garage sale and got this sweet coin. I know nothing about it and was hoping for some info on it and how much its worth. I know its silver thats about it heres some pics

1908 S (San Francisco mint) one peso; about 21M minted. Red Book values: $15 in VF and $17 in EF; up to $200 in MS-63. Diameter should be 35 mm. They're called 'Philippines coins under U.S. Sovereighty'.
Interesting find, for sure.

It is silver (.800) if you don't know.
1/100 of an American dollar is a cent. It is NOT a penny. The word penny is used by several other countries, such as Great Britain, to denote their smallest denomination. In order to be numismatically correct, you must use the term cent to describe the American coin.
