That is a beauty! That coin appears to be in VF to XF condition (maybe better). Here are the general prices for this coin:

VF - $26.00
XF - $60.00
AU - $120.00 (coin looks like it could easily qualify)

Coin appears to be mark free... corrosion free, and verdigris free! You have a winner coin! Congrats! If you want more information on it (such as the Newcomb variety), let me know. I know someone who may be able to help you.

I would absolutely say with confidence (based on that picture anyways) that the coin you have there is 100% AU.... Great find. As long as that coin didnt have any problems, (scratches, rubbing, cleaning, corrosion, etc...) I would send it to PCGS for certification/grading. Alot of people will disagree due to the $20 bucks or so you will spend getting it graded, but you paid $5 bucks for it... I would send it in, let us know if you do decide to have it graded. Congrats on a great find.

Chris.

That's an awesome coin! I found one myself. But some one drilled a hole on it. Grr but I like them.

I do not even know where to send for grading coins as I heard some places it is best to not send and I was told only one was good but who I do not know;
