A couple of years ago CRUSADER said this about a similar coin: "In my couterstamped book it quotes a J.T (I know yours is a star but likely the same person) who was an Irish Trader (fits with the coin). Not much known about him other than he might have been a silversmith or cutler

Now that I look at it, it's the same coin CRUSADER responded to on Dec. 16, 2009.
