First time out with the f2. Wife said I could dig one and only one hole in the yard. I guess I chose wisely :)

What does everyone think? Should I do anything to clean it, this is the condition after pulling from the ground and rinsing in the sink. Worth anything?

Any tips for cleaning it, or should I leave it as is?

I would definitely reccomend NOT cleaning it.it leaves microscopic scratches on the coin that end up making it worse in the long run.

Here is what I think...... DIG MORE HOLES.. If you listen to your wife, and really only dig one hole in your yard, after finding that..... You are a much stronger, or weaker man than I.... (I cant figure out which, but it's definately one of those two). If I found that in my yard, I would be tempted to excavate the entire yard!

Oh yeah, and DO NOT CLEAN IT.. Any value it has, would be withered down to melt value, or real close to it.

Don't clean it.

I think you should really focus on devising a way of slowly moving your current hole around the yard without being so obvious that your wife notices what you're up to.

Really great find!
