Was given this coin in a box with a bunch of others, I know the pictures are kinda blury. But does anyone know what it is just from those pictures? Its a bit bigger than a quarter and bit smaller than a half dollar.

Thanks,
Dihren

Actually, that might not be your coin. Many Nepalese coins have that same design. Can you tell me the date (below the box thing)?

Here is a chart to assist you with numbers:
Reading Coin Dates

You have to subtract 57 from the date on your coin to get a date from our calendar.

The date on the coin is 2038. So 1981. And the coin I posted does match my coin, just a different date.

Nepalese 2018, or 1961 (the date on the example coin) comes from King Mahendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev. Your coin is from King Birendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev. Also, your coin would be copper nickel. The example coin looks like it may be one of the "Asarphi" coins which are like gold bullion.

Try using the macro feature (flower), so that I can see the coin better. I can't find a coin with the date 2038, and golden dollar sized.

Thank you for all your help! In the beginning I was really just interested in what country the coin came from! Thanks!

If it's 25mm in diameter, it's a '50-paisa' coin. If it's determined to have been minted between the years 1932 and 1948 it's value range is $5 to $13 (F to UNC). Values for the same coin if minted between 1949 and 1953 are $2.50 (F) and $6.00 (UNC)
If it's 30 mm in diameter, it's a 'rupee' coin with retail values between $10 (F) and $22.50 (UNC) if minted between the years 1932 and 1948. If minted between 1949 and 1952 the retail value range is $5.00 to $12.00. What date has been agreed upon for the coin?

The date on the coin is 1981, which must have been read wrong, as no coin with that diameter and date exists.
