Old Silver........really old!

I went out metal detecting today in search of some more WWII items. I found some American rounds and a few German but then I stumbled upon this incredible beauty. I couldn't believe my eyes when I first saw it. I could tell it was silver but I just did not know how old it was. After a little research, I believe I know what it is. Philippe IV le bel or "the fair" was king of France. These were minted during his rule from 1285-1314. I found a coin which is 700 years old!!! I don't think this grin will leave me anytime soon!

Thanks bankfinds, I appreciate the website. The coin which was sold is the only other one I've seen which has the dots around the "X". Not sure what that means but it makes me feel better about having an authentic coin!
