I have a 1906-d? Barber dime that I found in my family garden. My family had been farming this plot of urban land for over 50 years, it could have been dropped by my grandfather in the late 1950's. Didn't use a metal detector either, the tiller brought it up and a heavy rain made it visible.

Do American Silver Eagles count? I think they are one of the most beautiful coins made! I'm working on building a collection...5 from every year they have been made.

That's awesome finding a coin your grandfather could have owned. I have a 1990 silver eagle. It's awesome, probably my second favorite lol

Nice question idea BenButton! Mine would either be my holed 1853 Large Cent my LCS owner gave to me and I wear on a chain, or a 1921 Morgan dollar my mom gave me that she has had nearly her whole life.

My favorite is my ms-70 rainbow toned 1936 Buffalo.Got it from my grandpa.he has 100 rolls of walkers in his safe.like 20 of them are bank sealed.

Got a pic of that buffalo? Sounds awesome! I used to have tons of buffalos as a kid, can't remember what ever happened to them though
