Can anyone tell me why this coin is selling all day for 70+ bucks on eBay? Whats so special about it? Thanks for any insight! Shane

It's silver, but it's worth about $30, I think the people buying the coins are just suckers. Plus, many of these are fakes.

Hmmmmmmmm, I have a good friend that is an avid coin collector that looked it up in his [FONT=lucida grande, tahoma, verdana, arial, sans-serif] world coin catalog and this is what HE said: [/FONT]
[FONT=lucida grande, tahoma, verdana, arial, sans-serif]"[/FONT]They are quite rare. They carry a 94 out of 100 on the scale putting them up there with the 1921 & 1928 Peace $'s." So they ARE rare and worth more than 30 bucks, just as eBay suggest.

Maybe so. At any rate i thank you for your replies. Worst case scenario I might get a sucker on ebay to give me more than it's worth. The cool thing is that the coin was included in a pound of foreign coins that a local coin shop sells out of a bend for really cheap. It was just overlooked.

Nice! My friend got a Phillipine 50 centavos (US Occupation) silver that I purchased from him for $9 a long time ago.
