You don't have to have anything appraised. All the info you need is right in front of you (your computer). Even 5 minutes of simple research should tell you everything you need to know about this coin.

And unless you are confident that it is AT LEAST MS-65 or better, having it professionally graded would be a waste of money.

True. But I personally would get it graded.
