1875 Trade Dollar

Back in the late 60's I belonged to a local coin club made up with about 50 regular members. One of the guys collected counterfeit coins and at a show and tell meeting he brought some of his collection. Most were Trade Dollars and he spent the better part of the entire meeting telling us the history of that particular coin counterfeiting history. Very interesting. He was in the process of writing a book on just the Trade Dollar. Am sure his first name was Herb, or Herbert. Have any of you ran across a Trade Dollar Counterfeit book with the authors first name Herb? If he could write as well as he talked, has to be a fantastic reading.
