You can find coins ranging anywhere from a fraction of a cent to coins worth literally millions of dollars. Depends on where you're looking, your budget, etc.

most Expensive I ever dug was 1879-s $5.00 gold I think I got $120 for (bad memory)

of Course there is probably at least 1 of every US coin ever minted & circulated,
lost out there somewhere , it's just the luck of the draw what is where,
nobody will know till it is found :laughing7:

I once bought a coin for $250. I held it for nearly 25 years. Walter Breen said it was Unique when I got it, published it in his Complete book as being one of two (earlier die trial). I Ended up selling it for about $15,000... That would be my most expensive coin. My most Expansive coin is a Caribbean 4 oz Silver coin. I forgot the country it was from. but it was Huge. About 3 or 4 inches across. Very pretty.
