it decreases the value some but im sure you can still sell it for a decent price, its an 1889 cc :hello2:

Definitely worth more than spot, check ebay sold listings, one went for $260 and another for $493. Yours isn't as nice as those two, but certainly has more value than just spot.

Its possible that you can sell it to other collectors via eBay in that state for more than spot. Don't take it to a dealer because its unlikely that he's going to pay more than spot for it.

To anyone who said spot, I would buy any holed CC Morgan at spot + a small premium any day. An 89, considerably more but certainly not "a few hundred". I would say $50 give or take.

It's an 89 cc for crying out loud, people. It's not an 81 s. it would sell for a lot more than $50, hole or not. Put it on eBay & see where it ends up. Then let us all know.
