It looks like copper in the photo, what makes you think it may be unplated?

Your not seeing the grey circle on obverse and the lack of copper color on the reverse?

Good question, most of the partial unplated ones I've seen on eBay aren't circle like that though. They are usually on one side of the cent and then work their way over to the other side.

The only way to confirm an unplated Lincoln cent is that it still has it's original mint luster
