Thank you all for being patient with me, I am still rather new to this. I have 2 more coins I would like some input on, and then a question. So the first coin has something that goes through the 0 in 2012, but it goes under the 0. The second has a small raised lip on the boarder bellow the first 2 in 2012, i cant get a good picture of it, but it looks rather similar to the picture here, just in a different location. As for my question, this roll of coins I have, there are a couple that look like Washington's forehead is made from sandpaper...? 2012 d hawaii.png

Since you are describing it as a groove then im going to assume it is not raised? If it is not raised up off the surface of the coin then it was not on the die that struck the coin because anything done to the die would be raised like the design elements. Also you should post a pic of the washingtons you claim look like sand paper, I have seen on other forums people finding die clashed coins that because of the design of the volcanoes eruption look like sand paper.
