Very nice Boone half dollar. It really is a gem. I have quite a few of the classics, but my next addition will be an Old Spanish Trail. This coming FUN will be my best chance. Last winter FUN, there were no acceptable OST available.

It was in a old green PCGS MS64 holder but the spot on the eyebrow and other spotting on the front led me to let it go. I think it may have developed after the coin was encapsulated but with TPGs you never know it may have gotten by because of the rarity.

A top pop sacagawea error for me and i'm pretty excited i have been on the look out for one of these for some time. The beginning of the sacagawea series has a few highly collectable coins and even a pattern coin accidentally released into circulation and i think these experimental wash coins have kinda taken a back seat to these other high priced coins. When the Sacagawea dollar was first released in 2000 it had a big problem with spots tarnishing and other blemishes so at the beginning of 2001 the mint began experimenting with a rinse to combat the problem. Long story short an alert collector notices that the small horde of dollars has a different color, appearance and texture. The collector contacts David Hendrickson of Silver Towne a huge coin dealer in the mid west, he buys the entire horde. Eventually the coins get authenticated and graded at SEGS, they also change hands to Michael S. Byers of Byers Numismatic Corp. They were then sold off exclusively at byersnc.com approximate mintage of 2500 coins grading between MS64 to MS67. I will include a link to the whole story for those interested below.

I love that Texas commemorative. I was going to get one but it was over priced.

This is my latest addition to collection- 1881 CC MS64+. I bought the coin unslabbed a few months ago and just got it back from NGC yesterday! I wasn't really expecting the +, so I was pumped to see that! NGC is running their "retro holder" promotion right now so I though what the heck!

I love this. The high grade Morgan's are stunning.

Picked up three of these on pre-order at the end of February. My newest purchased coins. They are quite proofy in person.

I bought this one uncertified at a local coin store for $350. The owner said that he figured that it would grade out as an MS 60. I just got it back and it graded much better than I thought it would!

I recently got my first WAM variety crhing. It's a 2000 and it's ugly, but I'll take it! Also got a 1960 d large date In stunning condition from the same boxe. A few days ago I snagged a 1995 DDO On ebay in ms67 condition certified by ngc for 44 bucks including shipped, but it hasn't come in the mail yet, hopefully it will tomorrow or the next day. image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg
