Well I went back to the flea market this morning and the guy wasn't there. I did find another guy that had coins and he told me to make him offers on anything I was interested in. I ended up with a 1971-S Eisenhower dollar for $8, 1950-D uncirculated nickel for $9, and he gave me a 1965 Churchill coin for free. My mom said she might let me stop again tomorrow to see if the guy is there. I am crossing my fingers that he will be there.

I went back this morning and got a 1917-S walker, 1918 walker, and a 1963 Franklin for $29 total. I felt that it was a pretty good deal and he said he might get some more walkers soon.

Good score but in the future, try to stay with Walking Liberty's that look more like the 1918 or in better condition! The 1917-S appears more in line with an AG-3 and are hard sells in any market! The Franklin was a fairly good score as well due to it's condition but anything from 1956 and up have a much lesser value.

I was on coinflation.com and I had to snap a pic of the silver price it was showing. Sadly it was only that high for about ten seconds. If silver was really that valuable I bet a lot of us would be rich.

Yep, and silver dimes would almost be $90. If it was this price I wouldn't be able to afford silver. I would probably be selling some of mine. Lol.

Not sure where you live. But my husband bought a lot at a yard sale recently. He paid $2/ dime, $3/ quarter and $7/half. The seller was unsure so he gave his number and said to call him. He called back two weeks later. We bought 6 rolls of dimes, 7 quarter rolls and 7 half rolls. All 90% silver. all the silver dollars found a good home too. It's pretty close to spot but not in any hurry to sell anyways! He has another guy to call back tomorrow.

I think I did pretty good. Thanks for looking. Sorry if pictures are crappy.

Today I went to the flea market and the guy said since I am a good customer he would sell cheap today. Here is what I got: 1907d barber half- $8, 1945 walking liberty half- $8, 2 1946 VF walking liberty halves for $8 each, 2 1951 Ben Franklin halves- $8 each, 1951S Ben Franklin half- $8, 1952 Ben Franklin half- $8, 1952S Ben Franklin half- $8, 2 1964 Kennedy halves for $7.50 each, and a 1943 sixpence that has two holes in it for 50 cents. The only bad thing about buying all these is that I spent a lot of my coin roll hunting money.

I would recommend putting the nickel in a 2x2, as the packaging may contain PVC.

Thanks for telling me. I had no idea they could contain PVC. It won't effect the value if I take it out of the packaging will it?

hey guys, the commercials during rush's show say silver is about to double

I have been trying to buy as much as possible, but I can't afford much since I am only 15. I mow yards and put the money towards silver and coin roll hunting. So far I have 3 1964 halves, 1 barber half, 2 silver canadian dimes, 6 war nickels, 1 mercury dime, 2 silver Washington quarters, 1 40% silver Eisenhower dollar, 1 silver Roosevelt dime, 5 walking liberty halves, and 6 Franklin halves. A lot of people keep telling me I am wasting my money, but I think silver will go back up. Then we will see who was wrong.

It doesn't look like it could have PVC to me either, but someone told me they can contain PVC. The value will not be altered, since it was not a mint packaging or any other official packaging. Just make sure it gets in a 2x2 or an air-tite.

I'd say that if rush is saying it, it is likely to be wrong.

I don't really think silver is going to double very quickly, but the price might go up a little at a time. Who is rush anyway?

Ok. Thank you I just put it in a 2x2.
