I picked up two Barber halves at a garage sale yesterday. The 1900-P I got for $10, and the 1903-O I got for $8. I think it was a good deal for me, but I'd be interested to hear what you guys think.
Dang those are great prices- even with them being fairly worn the melt value is more than the $8 you paid and most on eBay in the shape they are in go for anywhere from $18-25 -Congrats-
It was funny. He was also selling a 1964 Ken and a 1955 Ben, but he had those two coins priced higher than the Barbers.
He also had a LARGE bag of Walkers and Morgans, but they weren't for sale because he wasn't sure if they were his or his friend's coins. I'm going to keep pursuing this guy, because I think I can get some more good prices in the future.
