Grandpa's Railroad safe cache

Finally found the combo to grand dads railroad safe and it was filled with coins! I took photos of several I cant id as well as a few Im wondering if they are real or not. in most photos both sides are shown :) the ones with several coins per photo I put numbers beside to make it easier to point out.

heavy gold coin about the size of a us dime but very thick and heavy. must be solid gold.

On your "random" coins, I think #8 is a 1960D small date Lincoln cent. I can't see the date on #1 too well. It might be a small date too. On your "silver coins" only #2 and #8 are likely to actually be silver....the rest aren't. Your Monroe Half is a commemorative issued by the U.S. mint. Everything I see so far looks to be genuine but I don't have much expertise on the ancient foreign coins.

Yeh I had no idea what I had till I started researching more. If I am right some are from 14 to 32 AD thats crazy to me! I have no idea where he got these sadly he has passed away. The stories these coins could tell!

Now that you mention it and I look a bit closer, I think you're correct! So that cuts it down to one actual silver coin.

From the "Random Silvers," only the bottom right holed coin is silver.
