I know someone who is selling the following list of coins and I am hoping to get an idea as to what it would be safe to pay for them. I really dont have any other details other than what I am posting here. Any assistance greatly appreciated.

103 mercury dimes
3 pre-64 quarters
18 walking libertys
38 franklin halves 25 different dates and all XF or better
2 peace dollars UNC
1 morgan dollar

offer him face value and see if he'll bite then keep going up by one dollar until he sells it to you

I would offer between $550 and $600! You will still be below spot at those prices and be able to make a little on them unless the price of Silver drops drastically. Just don't try to sell them to a Coin Dealer, since they will offer less than you paid as they have to make money too.

I'd do it by fv and offer around $500
That's at 12-1 and you could easily get around 14-1 and maybe better since the halves are nice
