Hello Diggers-

My buddy Doug and I were able to get out yesterday to a Confederate Camp of his (Camp pounded)LOL in the western part of good ol Virginia that we just discovered last spring. Although we didn't set the relic detecting world on fire; after a slow start in beautiful 60 degree weather that we had yesterday for md-Jan

I did recover two drops ( 1 Ringtail sharps and a Merrill). A real surprise was this 1809 1/2 cent, only my second half cent, but this one is in much better condition. Thanks for looking!

Yeah, great old bullets and half cent. The half cent is worth around $50 in that condition, and there were only 222,867 minted.
