Mercury dimes... What years are the most valuable?? Nickles.. At what year/years do they start to have more than face value?? :icon_scratch:
It's much more complicated than just the year. Condition and the mint mark are key details too.

1916-D, 1921, and 1921-D are the key dates but other dates and mints increase in value depending on the grade. All Mercury Dimes are worth more than face and all start at around $1.50 silver melt. You also should look for varieties like the 1942/1.
