Was glued onto a black plastic holder for jewelry and have removed more than half of the plastic but am scared to remove the rest bc I don't want to damage the coin. Any advice on what I could use to remove the rest?

Do not use fingernail polish remover. Use only pure acetone is you don't want to damage or stain.
