Picked up $50.00 in loose rolls at my bank today. We were finding a few wheats and about 15 coppers average for roll when I spilled out a roll full of wheats.I stopped and we started checking ends looking for a wheat enders. There were 4 other rolls with a wheat ender.
The second roll was mostly wheats too.Two rolls only had the one wheat on the end and the last roll had about 6 wheats,101 wheats between the 5 rolls.
Most were 40's and 50's.The oldest was a 23,two 26's,two 29's,two37's,one 38 and a39.There was also a 42s and a 51s.
Thought for sure the boy and I would get an IH,not!!We're about half way through the rolls but there's two different wraps and the wraps we got all the wheats from are about done.
Seeing all those wheats spill out was a rush....

This was my second IH out of a penny roll.I also found a couple with the metal detector,my boy found about 20 with the metal detector but none out of penny rolls.lol

I found 16 wheats out of a penny roll last night,a couple of them from the teens.

Here's my 16 wheats and my first Penny roll IH.

That's awesome. It only takes that one Indian head to get penny fever. 16 wheaties in a single roll? I need that luck. I just stepped up my game and ordered a box of halves! Wish me luck. I've never found anything with my detector, but this year I plan on changing that. Whats the best thing you guys found?

The boy has all the luck with the metal detector.lolI've got a few silver rings and a silver pendant along with a few silver quarters one a barber.I've got 3 IH's to my credit to maybe 20 something to the boys.
The boy has a small pile of silver dimes one being a seated,a large cent with all his IH's and a pile of wheats. He has a couple silver quarters and a barber as well. Not to mention all the other cool things we both find.

Here's some of our finds.

Wow those are some amazing finds! What's that a pic of above the keys? Do you guys get permission to dig places? Or just go to parks and uninhibited places? I can't wait to get out there once this snow lets up. A friend of mine has shoe boxes filled with coins he found plus a gold pan am pocket watch. Just people's stories give me treasure hunting fever. I just ordered my first $500 box of halves and should have it by Friday! My closest bank refuses to give me any coin rolls so I dump all my sorted coins there and walk in with a big smile on my face everytime.

Thanks!!Were pretty new at it ourselves. We hit community parks and do a lot of the older houses if we can get permission.

The pic above the keys is a great seal button form the U.S.Army.They were first made in 1893 and were made up until 1935,we believe it was from World War I era.
Yesterday evening I found a St. Christopher chain and pendant. We think the chain may be stainless steel but,the pendant is .925 sterling silver.
