Oh, Im very happy with it , especially being a dug coin. I just know it kills alot of the value of coins.

XF45 with a very nice strike. The marks on the cheek might prevent it from getting full value in that grade however. I'd soak it in some hot soapy water and remove the rest of the dirt. Use a waterpik or very lightly brush it with a soft bristle toothbrush.

I found this yesterday, and noticed its one of the better Merc's Ive found.

I knwo with it being a dug coin it problaly isnt worth anything really.

But i was curious if this would be considered at least a XF condition, or posiballly better?

Whats your thoughts?

These two websites have very good info on value and condition also if you have a smart cellphone you can use it to determine the value on the fly so you never get taken...
