vancity,
Welcome to Treasure Net !!
You found this coin at work.
Can you give us a little better clarification.
Were you working at an archaeological dig site, or a souvenir shop or what??
Don........

I work in a skip yard in Scotland and it was found in a metal tin with a few other coins a half sovereign and some other British. So im not sure if it was dug up of tripped over walking down the street.

Saw this late. I would date it between 198 AD to 235 AD-- it kinda looks like Julia Mamea, wife of Severus Septimus (sp?) who ruled 222-235 AD. If not, one of the emperor wives somewhere around late 2nd century AD to early 3rd century AD.
